Its position, close to the furthest tip of the Sorrento peninsula, gives Massa Lubrense charateristic that are typical of both slopes of the penisula.
A famous climatic station dating back to ancient times, probably Lombardic, it offers a sublime panorama from it terraces.
Recommended sights: the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, in baroque style, and the nearby fisherman’s quarter of Marine della Lobra (Headquarter for the excursion in the Protected Marine Area of 'Punta Campanella').
The town is also a point of departure for many trekking excursion, among wich are those to Termini and to Punta Campanella, exactly opposite the island of Capri.
