The charming archipelago of the
Eolian Islands is found in the southern Tyrrhenian Mar to north of the Sicily.
One is made only seven
island are inhabited: Lipari, Salina, Volcano, Alicudi, Filicudi, Panarea, Stromboli.
The population is of approximately 12.000 inhabitants.
They make part of the Sicily Region and depend on the province of Messina.
They
borned approximately 700.000 years ago in order: Panarea, Filicudi, Alicudi, Salina, Lipari, Volcano and for last Stromboli which perhaps it has approximately 40.000 years of age.
